Two Month Check-Up!

We just got back from Harrison's two month check-up. He did amazing! He talked to the nurses and did not fuss at all for the doctor as she poked and prodded all over him. He was given a clean bill of health along with several remarks of how advanced he is. She said his level of alertness, talking, and motor skills are more along the lines of a four month old! We already know this is some special guy, but it was nice to hear it from his pediatrician too!

Weight: 12 1/2 pounds

Feeling Better and Growing Up

Harrison is feeling better and back on the move, well, he wants to be! He is laughing and talking more and more every day. We are having a blast with our little guy! His new favorites are watching daddy shave every morning, playing peekaboo (well, watching us play peekaboo!), and he is fascinated watching us eat- he just stares at us putting the forks and spoons in our mouths then he smacks his lips! So soon he will be eating solids himself! He is growing fast!

I Don't Feel Good

Harrison has his first cold! He is so brave though. Even when he can't breath because of the congestion or coughing he tries to smile and talk to us. He is our sweetheart! We have spent countless time sitting in the bathroom with the hot shower running, or just cuddling with our little guy. Those of you who know Harrison's personality know that this guy does not regularly cuddle! His daddy is also sick. It seems Harrison not only looks like his dad, likes to play with his dad, and talk to his dad, he also likes to do everything just like dad- include get sick at the same time! Get well soon my handsome men!

It's hard to breath and suck my pacifier at the same time- I'm trying to be sweet, but it sometimes frustrates me!

Finally asleep after two baths (because of spit-up), three outfit changes (also due to spit-up), two hours of walking the halls with mom, hearing all of the songs mom and dad know how to sing, one dose of Tylenol, 2 vaporizer refills, and a few of my own protests!

Harrison's Sixth Week

We are so blessed with our happy and handsome little man. Here is a glimpse into Harrison's week six.

Road Trip!

Saturday we went back to Matt's graduate school's 2009 graduation. Matt had a lot of friends graduating. Harrison did great on this road trip! He had to sleep and eat in very different and some odd places, but he was so laid back and thouroughly "oooed and ahhhed" over by all of Matt's friends and former professors. Yesterday Mimi and the aunts came to visit. We had such a good time! Harrison loves the extra attention! He got cuddled and loved on, so he was very happy!
